HET GEBRUIK VAN DE RDS-FUNCTIE
Wat is RDS?
RDS (radiodatasysteem) is een digitaal informatiesysteem dat werd ontwikkeld door de EBU
(Europese Vereniging van Omroepers). RDS is gebaseerd op de gangbare FM-zenders en biedt RDS
een grote verscheidenheid van informatiediensten en automatische functies voor het jn afstemmen
op autoradio’s die RDS ondersteunen.
5. De functie ‘AF/REG’ (ALTERNATIEVE FREQUENTIES)
Druk kort op deze toets om de omschakelmodus AF/REG te selecteren.
Wanneer de omschakelmodus AF/REG is geselecteerd controleert de radio de signaalsterkte
van de verkeersinformatie op de alternatieve frequentie voortdurend na. Druk lang op deze toets
om de regionale modus IN / UIT te schakelen.
– Regionale modus AAN:
De omschakeling naar alternatieve frequentie (AF) of programma-identicatie (PI) ZOEKEN wordt
toegepast op de zender die identieke programma-identicatiecodes uitzenden als de huidige
zender. Het segment REG brandt op de lcd-display.
– Regionale modus UIT:
Het apparaat negeert de regionale code in de opmaak van de programma-identicatiecode wan-
neer de omschakeling naar alternatieve frequentie (AF) of programma-identicatie (PI) ZOEKEN
wordt toegepast.
Opmerking:
Storingen op AF: wanneer de modus AF INGESCHAKELD en het uitgezonden signaal zwak
is, probeert dit apparaat een sterker signaal te vinden. Op dat ogenblik kunt u luisteren met
uitschakeling van AF-storingen. Dit is de normale werking. Als u deze storingen wenst te
voorkomen schakelt u eenvoudig de AF-modus uit.
6. De functie “TA” (VERKEERSINFORMATIE)
Druk kort op deze toets om de modus “verkeersinformatie” (TA) in of uit te schakelen.
Wanneer de modus “verkeersinformatie” is ingeschakeld en verkeersinformatie wordt uitgezonden:
– In de modus CD/MP3 schakelt het apparaat tijdelijk over naar de radio om de verkeersinfor
matie te ontvangen.
– Wanneer het volumeniveau onder de drempelwaarde ligt, wordt het volume tijdelijk ver hoogd
tot op de drempelwaarde.
– Tijdens de ontvangst van een zender met verkeersprogramma’s (TP) brandt het TP-seg ment
op de lcd-display.
7. De functie “PTY” (PROGRAMMATYPE)
PTY MUZIEK ---- PTY INFORMATIEF ---- PTY UIT
Wanneer u het programmatype (PTY) selecteert wordt de selectie toegepast met behulp van
de voorkeuzetoetsen, zoals beschreven in “Voorkeuzezenders”. Wanneer PTY is geselecteerd
begint de radio te zoeken naar zenders die de overeenkomstige PTY-informatie uitzenden en
stopt wanneer hij deze PTY-informatie heeft gevonden.
8. DISPLAY (DISP)
Druk op de toets DISP om af te wisselen tussen verschillende informatie op de display, zoals de
radiofrequenties, de klok, het muzieknummer en andere informatie afhankelijk van de WEER-
GAVEMODUS.
9. DE MODUSTOETS (MOD)
Druk op deze toets om de modus AUX / TUNER / CD-MP3 / USB of MMC/SD te selecteren.
Opmerking: de selectie van de modus USB of MMC/SD werkt enkel wanneer een usb is aang-
esloten of een kaart in de sleuf is gestopt.
10. DE GOLFBANDTOETS (BND)
Iedere golfband wordt cyclisch geselecteerd door op deze toets te drukken: FM1---FM2---FM3.
