1) Vul het proefbuisje voor de helft met condensaat uit de proefnamekraan.
2) Sluit het proefbuisje en houd het buisje met het deksel naar onderen tegen het licht.
a) Vergelijk het condensaatmonster met het gematteerde deel van het proefbuisje.
b) Als het condensaatmonster gelijk of donkerder is dan het gematteerde deel van
het proefbuisje, moet het actiefkoolfilter worden vervangen (zie handleiding).
3) Noteer het testresultaat en de onderhoudswerkzaamheden in de tabel.
Testen van het condensaat met olietestpapier:
1. Doop het olietestpapier in het condensaatmonster en beweeg het papier enkele
keren heen en weer.
2. Schud de teststrook om de waterdruppels te verwijderen.
3. Let op de kleurverandering van de teststrook: als er olie in het condensaat zit, kleurt
de teststrook donkerblauw.
a) geen kleurverandering d.w.z. enkele blauwe punten op de teststrook:
olierestgehalte minder dan 1-5 mg/liter condensaat.
b) teststrook kleurt een beetje blauw: olierestgehalte ca. 5-20 mg/liter condensaat.
c) teststrook kleurt erg blauw: olierestgehalte meer dan 20 mg/liter condensaat.
4. Noteer het testresultaat in de tabel.
Beoordeling van de meetresultaten met de olieteststrook:
De aanwezigheid van olie in water, vooral wanneer het gaat om fijnverdeelde
oliedruppels (verstrooiing) van milligrammen per liter water, kan alleen met
absolute zekerheid worden aangetoond door middel van een chemische analyse.
Derhalve kan het testresultaat met het olietestpapier alleen dienen als
onderhoudshulp voor de gebruiker van de condensaatreiniger. Het testresultaat is
ook afhankelijk van de bediening en moet daarom zoveel mogelijk door dezelfde
persoon worden uitgevoerd.
Het olietestpapier reageert alleen op niet geëmulgeerde olie in het water. Bij
een emulsie komt er geen reactie.
Om bovengenoemde testresultaten te toetsen is het belangrijk om naar behoefte
(1-2 maal per jaar) een chemische analyse te laten maken. De TÜV, de
chemische laboratoriums, evenals wij als leverancier kunnen tegen betaling een
chemische analyse voor u maken. Voor deze analyse heeft het laboratorium 1 liter
condensaat nodig in een glazen (geen plastic!) fles.
