SMS é um serviço de rede que não pode ser utilizado
para enviar e receber mensagens antes de aplicar o operador
de rede.
Os dois cartões SIM do telemóvel podem enviar e receber
SMS. O SMS é enviado para o centro de SMS da rede e
depois enviado pela rede para o destino (utilizador GSM). Se o
utilizador não tiver o telemóvel ligado ou se o telemóvel não
suportar SMS ou poderá ter a memória cheia, a rede irá gravar
a SMS temporariamente. A duração do armazenamento
depende das definições de quem enviou a mensagem e do
operador.
Com esta função, o telemóvel pode enviar e receber
mensagens de texto em cadeia, que podem afectar os gastos
em chamadas. Para mais informações, consulte o operador.
A função SMS SIM1 suporta o armazenamento de 200
SMS´s, que são partilhadas na caixa de entrada, de saída e de
rascunhos, o lixo suporta o armazenamento de 20 mensagens;
