Assembly instructions
The device must be completely assembled before use!
While reading the text it is advisable to refer to the
„Overview of the Components“ (Illustration A).
1. Position the rear protection grid (6) in place in ac-
cordance with the recesses.
ޥ NOTE:
Please note that the borehole for the fastening
screw (3) faces downwards.
2. Turn the attachment ring (5) for the rear protection
grid (6) slightly in a clockwise direction.
3. Attach the propeller (4) to the motor shaft (7) and
press it  rmly into place.
4. Insert the front protective grille (1).
ޥ NOTE:
Ensure that the holes for the attachment screw in
the front and rear protective grille are aligned one
above the other.
5. Tighten the protective grille with the attachment
screw (3) supplied.
6. Close the attachment hooks (2).
Position
The ideal position is a non-slip,  at surface.
Wall Installation
You can also install the fan on the wall. Please remember
that there must be an electric socket close by.
Setting up the Fan (Illustration B)
1. Release the wing screw (12) on the joint.
2. Remove the stopper (11) by loosening the screw.
3. Turn the motor through 90°.
4. Turn the wing screw until it is hand-tight.
Attachment to the Wall (Illustration. C)
On the underside of the switch housing there are two
indentations. The distance between these indentations
is 36 mm.
Drill two horizontal holes at this distance. .
CAUTION:
Please ensure beforehand that you will not be
damaging any pipes or electric wires concealed in
the wall!
Insert rawlplugs into the holes.
Please use two screws of size 4 x 25 mm. Allow the
screws to protrude 10 – 12 mm out of the wall.
Suspend the switch housing by the screws. Check
that it is  rmly held in place.
Putting into Service
Electrical Connection
1. Before inserting the plug into the socket. Make sure
that the mains voltage to be used matches that of
the device. You can  nd this information on the
nameplate.
2. Connect the device to a duly installed 230V/50Hz
protective contact socket.
Use
Basic Settings
Set the blower inclination angle before starting the
device.
In order to do this, release the wing screw (12) and
move the fan to the desired position.
Retighten the wing screw by hand.
ޥ NOTE:
The stopper prevents the fan from falling over.
Operation
Use the pushbutton switches on the front to select the
speed:
1 = slow, 2 = fast.
Shift to „0“ to switch o the device.
Blower Direction/Oscillation
You can choose from the two following options:
1. Turn the device carefully with by hand by holding the
fan on the sides and turning it either to the left or to
the right until the limit stop
.
CAUTION: do not exceed this limit.
The device must have been switched o before. The
setting knob must be pulled out.
2. Select the automatic swinging direction by pressing
in the knob. The device swings automatically within
a range of 90°. This function is active only when the
fan is on. To deactivate the function pull out the set-
ting knob.
Cleaning
WARNING:
Always remove the mains plug before cleaning the
device.
If you need to remove the safety guard: Always
switch the device o and remove the mains plug.
Under no circumstances should you immerse the
device in water for cleaning purposes. Otherwise
this might result in an electric shock or  re.
