I just plugged in my AEG Solo 15 and I cannot hear a dialtone. My phone has new batteries and the base station has power and is connected to the landline port but I have no diatone when I press the green button. When I use a different landline phone, I get a dial tone just fine.

I have followed all instructions in installing the phone however I cant hear a dial tone nor the person I am talking to when using the earpiece but when I switch to speakerphone I can hear everything clearly -- I have already adjusted the volume to volume 3 and I still cant hear anything when it's not on speaker mode. Please help - thanks
