I bambini dovrebbero essere sorvegliati per evitare
che giochino con il dispositivo.
La confezione include eventualmente un piccolo sac-
chetto bianco con pallini. Non aprire questo sac-
chetto, serve per mantenere asciutto l’apparecchio
durante il trasporto.
PRIMA DELL’UTILIZZO INIZIALE
Rimuovere la pellicola protettiva (se presente) dalla
superficie del prisma [2] e verificare il corretto
posizionamento del paraocchi in gomma.

MISURAZIONE
Con il rifrattometro è possibile determinare in modo
rapido e preciso il contenuto di anticongelante
nel circuito refrigerante e nel sistema lavavetri del
vostro veicolo. E’ possibile inoltre determinare la
densità dell’acido della batteria del vostro veicolo.
Per una corretta misurazione il dispositivo deve
essere regolato.
Regolazione della linea nulla
1. Sollevare il coperchio di protezione del prisma.
2. Versare alcune gocce di acqua distillata [8] sulla
[2] superficie del prisma.
3. Ripremere il coperchio del prisma [1]. La quantità
di liquido deve essere tale da ricoprire la maggi-
or parte della superficie del prisma.
4. Guardare attraverso l’oculare [4] e puntare il rif-
rattometro con la superficie del prisma [2] verso
una sorgente il più possibile luminosa.
5. Nell‘oculare [4] si vede un campo chiaro-scuro,il
cui limite indica l‘indice di rifrazione sulla scala
visibile anche nell‘oculare [4].
6. Con l’aiuto dello strumento di regolazione in do-
tazione [7], ruotando la vite di calibrazione [3]
dietro la superficie del prisma [2] (sotto il cap-
puccio di gomma), è possibile regolare la scala
e calibrare il rifrattometro. Il limite chiaro-scuro
deve coincidere con la linea nulla (Waterline). La
temperatura della stanza deve essere +20°C.
