In IPOD mode:
• First press the iPOD/MEM/C-ADJ button to activate the
iPod-Menu. IPODMENU appears in the display.
• Now press the / SKIP/TUNE SEARCH buttons to
scroll up or down the iPod/iPhone menu.
During radio mode:
Tune the desired radio station.
STOP/MENU (8/14)
Pauses the CD or piece of music.
In IPOD Mode:
• First press the iPOD/MEM/C-ADJ button to activate the
iPod menu. IPODMENU appears in the display.
• Now press the
STOP/MENU button to call up the
iPod/iPhone menu or to return to the previous menu.
NOTE:
The Music App must already be started to do this.
MUTE (11 on the remote)
Quickly turn o the sound. The volume bars ash on the
display. To cancel this function, press
MUTE again.
EQ (12 on the remote)
(Preset equalizer function). There are dierent sound
modes available (PASS CLASSIC, ROCK, POP, JAZZ).
NOTE: During iPod/iPhone Music Playback
For optimum sound, change the EQ setting on your
iPod/iPhone as required.
ID3/ST/MO (18/15)
During FM radio mode:
Switch between STEREO and MONO.
For MP3s or a CD in MP3 Format:
Stored ID-3 tag information will be shown as banner in the
display. Press the button again to activate the function.
REPEAT (13 on the remote)
Press 1x: (REPEAT lights up) The current track will be
repeated entirely.
Press 2x: (REPEAT ALL lights up) The complete CD will
be repeated entirely.
Press 3x : All functions will be canceled. Normal
playback will be continued.
Only for MP3s and CDs in MP3 format:
Press 1x: The current track will be repeated continu-
ously (The display will show REPEAT).
Press 2x: The complete CD will be repeated continu-
ously (the display will show REPEAT ALL).
Press 3x: The selected folder of the MP3 CD will be
repeated continuously (the display will show
REPEAT ALBUM). Use
PRESET/FOLDER
buttons (12/14) to select the individual folders.
Press 4x: The function will be deactivated and the CD
will be played in normal mode.
RANDOM (6 on the FB)
The display will show “RANDOM” and the number of the
track that will be played rst. All tracks will be played
consecutively in random order.
PRESET/FOLDER (12/5)
For MP3 or a CD in MP3 format:
Press these buttons during playback to switch one folder
up or down. The display shortly shows a message, e.g.
ALBUM 02. Then the system automatically starts playback
of the MP3 CD. When pressing the buttons during stop
mode, the message will also shortly be shown in the dis-
play. Then press
PLAY/PAUSE/ENTER to start playback.
During radio mode:
Select a stored radio station.
SLEEP (8 on the remote)
When the device is switched on, you can set the time after
which the device will turn into standby mode; set the time
in 10 minutes intervals from 90 to 10 minutes. Repeatedly
press this button until the display shows the desired time.
When the function is activated, the display will show the
symbol “
”. The device will turn o automatically after
the preset time.
To display the remaining time, please press SLEEP but-
ton. You may still reduce the time or deactivate (OFF) the
function afterwards.
TIMER (7 on the remote)
You may program the device for it to turn o and on
again after a certain preset time.
1. Use
STANDBY ON button to switch into standby
mode (time will be displayed).
2. Press TIMER button until the display shows “
ON”.
• Using the
/ SKIP/TUNE SEARCH buttons (7/14),
you can now set the turn-on hours, turn-on
minutes, turn-o hours, turn-o minutes, turn-
on mode and the turn-on volume.
• Conrm your input each time with the TIMER
button. The current display to be set ashes on
the display.
