3. Repeatedly press the AUX IN/iPod button (Fig. 3/31) until “IPOD/IN“
is displayed. The device now establishes a connection to the iPod/
iPhone. If the TV set is switched on, the pop-up (left) appears. If the
connection is established successfully, the CONNECT message appears
on the display.
4. Depending on the iPod/iPhone Model, rstly release the button lock
and start playing music if necessary with the PLAY/ENTER button
(Fig. 3/8).
5. Follow your iPod/iPhone manual for further use of the controls.
NOTE: During iPod/iPhone music/video playback
If required you can also change the EQ setting on your iPod/iPhone,

to create the optimum sound.
The sound is only transmitted via the music center speakers.

The picture is transmitted via the SCART and composite video con-

nection.
CAUTION:
Return to radio mode before disconnecting your iPod/iPhone from this
device to avoid damages to your iPod/iPhone.
NOTE:
If you have an incoming call when playing back music with the iPhone
docked, then playback stops and you can hear the ring tone.
iPod/iPhone Charging
Your iPod/iPhone battery is charged as soon as the iPod/iPhone is docked.
To do this, the unit must be connected to the mains.
NOTE:
If the slot adapter has been supplied with your iPod, use it to ensure

that your iPod ts correctly.
Not all iPod/iPhone generations support the charge mode.

The duration of the charging process depends on the iPod/iPhone

which is used and its operating condition.
