Technische gegevens

Uw Expresswaterkoker heeft de vol-

gende technische gegevens:

– Nominale spanning: 230 V

– Toelaatbaar vermogen:

2000 W (230 V)

– Maximale capaciteit: 1,5 liter

– Minimaal vulvolume: 0,25 liter

Ingebruikneming

Plaats de onderplaat (fig. 1/H) op een

stevige ondergrond en zet de waterko-

ker erop. Stop de stekker in het stop-

contact. Het niet benodigde snoer kan

in de onderplaat opgeborgen worden.

Bedieningsaanwijzingen

Voordat u de nieuwe waterkoker voor

de eerste keer gebruikt, is het uit

hygiënisch oogpunt raadzaam hem van

buiten met een vochtige doek af te

nemen. Wij raden aan het water na de

eerste keer koken weg te gooien.

• Open de deksel en vul de waterkoker

met water (fig. 2).

• Let op: Vul de waterkoker nooit met

minder water dan het minimum (0,25 l)

of met meer water dan het maximum

(1,5 l) (fig. 3). Als de waterkoker te vol

is, kan het kokende water eruit spuiten.

• Druk de AAN/UIT-schakelaar (fig. 4)

naar beneden om de waterkoker aan te

zetten. Het controlelampje gaat bran-

den om aan te geven dat het apparaat

is ingeschakeld.

• Belangrijk: Controleer of het deksel

goed dicht zit voordat u de waterkoker

aanzet, omdat het automatische uit-

schakelmechanisme alleen goed werkt

als het deksel goed is afgesloten (fig. 5)

• Om technische redenen kan er condens

in het gedeelte onder het handvat ont-

staan. Deze condens heeft geen invloed

op de werking van het apparaat.

Pieptoon (alleen SWK 780)

Naargelang model is de waterkoker van

een pieptoon voorzien die als volgt

werkt:

• Als het water kookt, begint het appa-

raat te piepen, het schakelt zichzelf uit

en het controlelampje gaat uit.

• De pieptoon klinkt ook als het koken

onderbroken wordt of als de waterko-

ker van de onderplaat wordt afgehaald

of als hij wordt uitgeschakeld via de

AAN/UIT-schakelaar.

Filter (alleen SWK 780)

Naargelang model is de waterkoker

voorzien van een filter (fig. 1/L). Het

filter kan eruit gehaald worden.

Het houdt kalkdeeltjes tegen die zich

eventueel in de waterkoker bevinden.

Als de waterkoker te sterk verkalkt

raakt, moet hij ontkalkt worden. Zie

daarvoor de beschrijving in “Ontkal-

ken”.

Veiligheidsfuncties

Bij de constructie van AEG apparaten

staat veiligheid voorop. Daarom is uw

waterkoker van de volgende veilig-

heidsfunctiesvoorzien:

• Automatisch uitschakelmechanisme.

Na het koken zal de waterkoker zich

automatisch uitschakelen en gaat het

controlelampje uit.

• Droogkookbeveiliging. Beschermt het

apparaat tegen oververhitting als hij

gebruikt wordt zonder met water

gevuld te zijn. Het verhitten wordt

automatisch onderbroken. Laat de

waterkoker ca. 5-10 minuten afkoelen

voor u hem weer in gebruik neemt.

• Oververhittingsbeveiliging. In geval

van oververhitting wordt de waterko-

ker automatisch uitgeschakeld. Laat

hem ca. 5-10 minuten afkoelen voor u

hem weer in gebruik neemt.
