Doe alleen koud water in de watertank.
Nooit andere vloeistoffen, zoals mine-
raalwater of melk, erin doen.
0 Breng de watertank weer aan
(afbeelding 7). Druk de tank daarbij
vast aan, zodat het ventiel van de
watertank open gaat.

Als het apparaat ingeschakeld is en de
watertank ontbreekt of er water bijge-
vuld moet worden, brandt het Indica-
tielampje “Watertank vullen”
(afbeelding 3, k) . Het maken van
koffie is dan niet mogelijk of wordt
onderbroken.

Om altijd een aromatische koffie te
krijgen moet u:
• het water in de watertank dagelijks
verversen,
• de watertank minstens eens per week
in normaal afwaswater (niet in de
vaatwasmachine) schoonmaken. Ver-
volgens met schoon water afspoelen.
2.3 Apparaat inschakelen
0 Schakel het apparaat in met de Toets
“Aan/uit” (afbeelding 3, h)
(afbeelding 9). Het rode indicatie-
lampje brandt. Tijdens het opwarmpro-
ces (ca. 25 seconden) knippert het
Indicatielampje “Apparaat warmt op”
(afbeelding 3, i) .
0 Wanneer de bedrijfstemperatuur
bereikt is, voert het apparaat een auto-
matische spoeling uit. Het water
stroomt in het afdruipbakje. Het Indi-
catielampje “Apparaat warmt op”
(afbeelding 3, i) brandt continu.
Het apparaat is nu bedrijfsklaar.

Direct na het inschakelen, nog tijdens
het opwarmen, gaat het apparaat aan.
De daardoor veroorzaakte geluiden zijn
volkomen normaal.
2.4 Apparaat uitschakelen
Als het apparaat na het maken van
koffie met de Toets “Aan/uit” (afbeel-
ding 3, h) uitgeschakeld wordt,
vindt er nog een spoeling plaats en het
Indicatielampje “Koffiedikreservoir
legen” (afbeelding 3, j) knippert
nog ca. 1 minuut om u daaraan te her-
inneren. Als het apparaat tijdens een
functie met de Toets “Aan/uit” (afbeel-
ding 3, h) wordt uitgeschakeld, zijn
onmiddellijk alle functies uitgescha-
keld.
2.5 Waterhardheid instellen
Voor de eerste ingebruikneming of bij
gebruik van een andere waterkwaliteit
moet u het apparaat instellen op de
waterhardheidsstand die overeenkomt
met de plaatselijke waterhardheid.
Gebruik het bijgeleverde teststaafje om
de hardheidsstand te bepalen of vraag
bij uw watermaatschappij naar de
hardheid.
Bepalen van het
waterhardheidsniveau
0 Doop hiervoor het teststrookje ca.
1 seconde in koud water. Schud het
overtollige water eraf en bepaal het
hardheidsniveau aan de hand van de
roze vakjes.
Geen of één vakje roze:
hardheidsniveau 1, zacht
tot 1,24 mmol/l of
tot 7° Duitse hardheid of
tot 12,6° Franse hardheid
Twee vakjes roze:
hardheidsniveau 2, middelhard
tot 2,5 mmol/l of
tot 14° Duitse hardheid of
tot 25,2° Franse hardheid
Drie vakjes roze:
hardheidsniveau 3, hard
tot 3,7 mmol/l of
tot 21° Duitse hardheid of
tot 37,8° Franse hardheid
