IMPORTANT : If the source that you are going to connect to your MDX-600 have both
optical and digital outputs, Only one of the two types should be connected at any one
time. If both the optical and coaxial outputs of your source are connected, neither
will work.

ENTRÉE USB A
L’entrée USB type A (MP3) située sur la face avant permet de lire les fichiers musicaux
de votre lecteur MP3 précedemment chargés.
ENTRÉE USB B
L’entrée USB type B située sur la face avant permet de lire les fichiers musicaux de votre
ordinateur MAC ou PC sans driver. Afficheur I
Sur votre PC, l’installation est automatique et aucun pilote n’est nécessaire. Après quel-
ques secondes, le message “ Votre nouveau dispositif ou périphèrique a été installé et
est prêt à l’emploi“ apparaîtra pour confirmer que l’installation est réussie. La description
s’affichera comme USB Audio CODEC.
Sur MAC dans les préférences Son de votre votre logiciel système, sélectionner dans
l’onglet “sortie“ puis USB Audio CODEC.
ENTRÉE AES/EBU
La norme AES/EBU définit la méthode de transfert pour l’audio numérique profession-
nelle. Cette norme a vu le jour dans les années 80 (AES3-1985, AES3-1992). Elle est
survenue suite à la collaboration entre l’Audio Engineering Society (AES) et de l’European
Boadcasting Union (EBU) permettant un échantillonnage de 32, 44,1 et 48 kHz en 16
bits de quantification qui a évolué par la suite jusque 96 et 192 kHz en 20 et 24bits. Les
signaux à la norme AES/EBU sont transmis par câbles XLR - dont l’impédance fait 110
ohms - qui permettent le transport du signal symétrique sur des grandes longueurs. Cette
norme est aussi appelé AES3. Si votre source est équipé de cette sortie, alors connectez
la sur cette entrée.
USB A / USB B / AES-EBU INPUTS
USB A INPUT
The USB type A (MP3 only) port allows you to hook up your MP3 Player or MP3 drive
to play back your downloaded MP3 music library directly thru the MAX-450 amplifier.

The USB audio input can be used to play audio files from your PC or MAC. Installation
