Transmitter: Inserting batteries
In order to use the scales, you will need 2 batteries of type LR03 (AAA), 1.5 V (included).
The battery compartment is located on the rear side of the transmitter.
1. Push the locking tab downwards and remove the battery compartment cover.
2. Insert the batteries as shown on the base of the battery compartment. Pay attention
to the correct polarity (+/-).
3. Put the battery compartment cover back in place. The locking tab must snap
securely into place.
Receivers: Remove the iso-strip
The batteries (type CR2032, 3 V) are already inserted on delivery and, for protection
against premature discharge, are provided with an iso-strip.
The following description applies to both receivers.
1. With the help of a narrow coin or similar object, open the battery compartment by
twisting the battery compartment cover in the OPEN arrow direction.
2. Pull out the iso-strip; to do this, you may need to remove the battery briefly.
3. Then reinsert the battery in the correct orientation.
Pay attention to the correct polarity (+/-). The plus pole (+) must point upwards.
4. Then, replace the battery compartment cover and twist it in the CLOSE arrow
direction until it stops.
Notes on changing the batteries
If the range of the transmitter diminishes, the beeps can only be heard
quietly, or the receivers no longer react, then the batteries have to be
exchanged.
Only use the type of battery that is specied in the “Technical Data”.
Always change both batteries at the same time.
Dispose of batteries in an environmentally appropriate way (see
“Disposal”).
