Positioning the scales
−Place the scales on an even, rm, and dry surface. Do not place the scales on
carpet.

−Do not step onto the scales with wet feet or when its surface is damp.
Risk of slipping!
−Position yourself on the scales. Remain standing still and do not hold on to
anything.
The scale switches on and the digital display flashes shortly thereafter:
−The weight measurement is displayed in digital form in the selected unit of
measure.
−The analog (round) scale with the pointer always shows the weight in kilo-
grams.

Weigh yourself with as little clothing on as possible.
Try to weigh yourself always at the same time and under consistent
conditions in order to obtain comparable values.
Resetting the scales
Reset the scales to factory settings if unusual or obviously incorrect values are shown
on the display.
1. Remove the batteries from the battery compartment and wait a moment.
2. Re-insert the batteries. Pay attention to the correct polarity of the batteries (+/-).
After switching the scales on, you can weigh yourself as usual.
