Die Verwendung des Acronis PXE Servers ist sinnvoll, wenn sich im Netzwerk ein DHCP-Server
(Dynamic Host Control Protocol) befindet, sodass die Maschinen beim Booten automatisch eine
IP-Adresse erhalten. Ohne einen DHCP-Server können Sie Maschinen nicht von PXE booten.
Wir empfehlen, dass Sie in einem Subnetz nur einen PXE Server haben, um das Verhalten der
bootenden Maschinen vorhersehbar zu machen.
Der Acronis PXE Server läuft unmittelbar nach der Installation als Dienst. Bei jedem System-Neustart
wird er automatisch ausgeführt. Sie können den Dienst auf dieselbe Art wie andere Dienste stoppen
und starten.
4.5.3.5 Installation von Acronis Wake-On-LAN Proxy
Über den Acronis Wake-On-LAN Proxy kann der Acronis Snap Deploy 5 OS Deploy Server
Zielmaschinen in einem anderen Subnetz einschalten.
Sie brauchen Acronis Wake-on-LAN Proxy nur im folgenden Fall zu installieren:
Sie wollen ein Deployment auf bestimmte Maschinen ausführen (beim Deployment auf alle
bereiten Maschinen werden die Maschinen nicht vom Deployment Server eingeschaltet).
UND
Alle bzw. einige der Zielmaschinen befinden sich in einem anderen Subnetz als der Acronis Snap
Deploy 5 OS Deploy Server.
Sie können den Acronis Wake-on-LAN Proxy auf einem beliebigen Server im selben Subnetz wie die
Zielmaschinen installieren. Es sind keine weiteren Aktionen erforderlich.
Der Acronis Wake-on-LAN Proxy läuft unmittelbar nach der Installation als Dienst. Später wird er
automatisch nach jedem System-Neustart ausgeführt. Sie können den Dienst auf dieselbe Art wie
andere Dienste stoppen und starten.
4.5.3.6 Installation des Acronis Snap Deploy 5 Management Agenten
Die Installation des Acronis Snap Deploy 5 Management Agenten ermöglicht es, Online-Imaging
durchzuführen und die Integrität des Master-Images zu überprüfen. Außerdem ermöglicht Sie dem
Acronis Snap Deploy 5 OS Deploy Server, ein Deployment auf einer Maschine durchzuführen,
während diese online ist.
Online-Imaging bedeutet, dass das Master-System während des Imaging läuft (ohne dass die
Maschine neu gestartet oder der Betrieb unterbrochen wird). Sie können Online-Imaging remote
ausführen, indem Sie die Konsole mit dem auf der Master-Maschine installierten Management
Agenten verbinden. Der Management Agent wird in das Master-Image aufgenommen und so auf
allen Zielmaschinen bereitgestellt.
Allerdings ist es nicht immer sinnvoll, zusätzliche Software ins Master-Image aufzunehmen.
Wir empfehlen, ein Master-Image mithilfe der bootfähigen Komponente Acronis Snap Deploy 5
Master Image Creator zu erstellen. Trotzdem ist es sinnvoll, wenigstens einen Management Agenten
im Netzwerk zu haben (nicht unbedingt auf der Master-Maschine). Mit dem Management Agenten
können Sie die Integrität der Images validieren (S. 90).
Gehen Sie folgendermaßen vor, wenn Sie den Management Agenten auf Zielmaschinen in einer
Umgebung mit mehreren Deployment-Servern installieren wollen:
