Die Firmware-Schnittstellen BIOS (Basic Input/Output System) und UEFI (Unified Extensible
Firmware Interface) werden gleichermaßen bei den Master- wie auch Ziel-Maschinen unterstützt.
2.5 Verwendung
Dieser Abschnitt gibt einen allgemeinen Überblick über die Verwendung des Produkts, jedoch keine
detaillierten Anweisungen für das Ausführen bestimmter Aktionen. Fortgeschrittene Anwender
können diesen Abschnitt aber durchaus als Schnellanleitung verwenden. Detaillierte Informationen
können zudem in den anderen Abschnitten gefunden werden.
2.5.1 Offline-Imaging
Offline-Imaging bedeutet, dass das Master-System angehalten wird und die Master-Maschine mit der
Acronis-Umgebung oder einer Windows Preinstallation Environment (WinPE) hochfährt.
So führen Sie ein Offline-Imaging aus
1. Konfigurieren Sie das Master-System.
2. Installieren Sie die Acronis Snap Deploy 5 Management Console.
3. Wählen Sie eine der nachfolgenden Varianten:
Erstellen Sie mit dem Acronis Snap Deploy 5 Master Image Creator ein bootfähiges Medium
(entweder ein Acronis-Medium oder ein WinPE-basiertes Medium).
ODER
Installieren Sie den Acronis PXE Server, verbinden Sie die Konsole mit dem PXE Server und
laden Sie den Acronis Snap Deploy 5 Master Image Creator hoch.
4. Booten Sie die Maschine mit dem Acronis Snap Deploy 5 Master Image Creator – je nach Auswahl
im vorangegangenen Schritt entweder von einem bootfähigen Medium oder vom PXE Server.
5. Befolgen Sie die Anweisungen des Assistenten 'Master-Image erstellen' auf der Master-Maschine,
um die Imaging-Aktion zu konfigurieren und zu starten. Das Image können Sie in einem
Netzwerkordner, auf einem entfernbaren Medium (z.B. einem USB-Laufwerk) oder einem
Wechselmedium (z.B. einer DVD) speichern. Um aus der bootfähigen Umgebung auf das
Netzwerk zuzugreifen, benötigen Sie einen DHCP-Server-Agenten oder Sie müssen die
Netzwerkeinstellungen der Master-Maschine manuell konfigurieren.
