1 Einführung in Acronis Snap Deploy 5
1.1 Überblick
1.1.1 Was ist Acronis Snap Deploy 5
Acronis Snap Deploy 5 ist eine flexible, leistungsfähige Softwarelösung für das Deployment eines voll
konfigurierten Betriebssystems (mit oder ohne Anwendungsprogramme und andere(n) Daten) auf
mehrere Maschine. Das Produkt basiert auf der 'Disk Imaging'-Technologie und ist daher ideal für
schnelle Installationen auf fabrikneuer Hardware und ein flexibles zentrales Provisioning.
1.1.2 Wer benötigt Acronis Snap Deploy 5
Acronis Snap Deploy 5 ist primär für folgende Zielgruppen konzipiert:
Kleine und mittlere Unternehmen:
IT-Dienstleister
Hardware-Einzelhandel
IT-Abteilungen größerer Organisationen
Schulen und Universitäten
Forschung, Entwicklung und Software-Testlabore
Mit Hilfe der Unternehmensfunktionen von Acronis Snap Deploy 5 (z.B. geplantes Deployment,
Unterstützung der Preinstallation Environment, Befehlszeilenschnittstelle und Skripterstellung, um
nur einige zu nennen) lassen sich die Aufgaben der IT-Abteilung in großen Unternehmen
automatisieren.
1.1.3 Infrastruktur von Acronis Snap Deploy 5
Die Komponenten der Acronis-Infrastruktur sind auf Windows-Maschinen installiert. Die Verwaltung
der Acronis-Infrastruktur erfolgt über die Acronis Snap Deploy 5 Management Console.
Ein Referenz-Image (Master-Image genannt) kann in Windows, in der Acronis-Umgebung oder in
einer Windows Preinstallation Environment (WinPE), die Komponenten von Acronis Snap Deploy 5
enthält, erstellt werden.
Deployments werden in der Acronis- oder einer WinPE-Umgebung, die Komponenten von Acronis
Snap Deploy 5 enthält, durchgeführt. In beiden Umgebungen stellt Acronis Snap Deploy 5 die
grafische Benutzeroberfläche (GUI) zur Verfügung. WinPE unterstützt außerdem den
Befehlszeilenmodus und die Skripterstellung.
Ein spezielles bootfähiges Werkzeug ermöglicht das voll funktionsfähige Deployment per GUI auf
einer autonomen Maschine (eine vom Netzwerk isolierte Maschine oder eine in ein Netzwerk ohne
Acronis Snap Deploy 5-Infrastruktur integrierte Maschine).
1.2 Die Neuerungen von Update 2
Beim Imaging und Deployment werden jetzt auch Maschinen unterstützt, die unter Windows 10
laufen.
