Positie
De melder heeft een sensor die de gehele ruimte (360°)
bewaakt, maar desondanks dient hij direct op het te
bewaken vlak gericht te zijn. De melder is voor wand- en
plafondmontage geschikt.
Monteer hem het best op de muur die tegenover de ramen
ligt. Ook het plafond of de zijwanden zijn goede
montageplaatsen.
De beste positie is op ca. 2-3 meter afstand van de ramen.
Houd echter ten opzichte van andere geluidsbronnen
(televisie, radio, deur etc.) een afstand van minimaal
1,2 meter aan om mogelijke valse alarmen te voorkomen.
De maximale afstand ten opzichte van de ramen bedraagt
6 meter. Bij inbraakwerend glas (klasse A1 tot A3, EH01)
mag de afstand niet meer dan 3,65 meter bedragen.
