Bij de overdracht wordt het internetprotocol TCP gebruikt. TCP gebruikt poort 9999.
Als meldingen niet kunnen worden verzonden, kan dat onder bepaalde omstandigheden eraan liggen dat de firewall
ook verschillende uitgaande poorten blokkeert. Controleer daarom de firewall-instellingen op de router of IAD.
TCP-poort 9999 maakt gebruik van het Transmission Control Protocol. TCP is een van de hoofdprotocollen in TCP/IP-
netwerken. TCP is een verbindingsgericht protocol, het vereist handshaking om end-to-end communicatie in te richten.
Gebruikersgegevens kunnen alleen bidirectioneel via de verbinding worden verzonden als er een verbinding is
opgezet.
Let op! TCP garandeert de levering van gegevenspakketten aan poort 9999 in de volgorde waarin ze zijn verzonden.
Gegarandeerde communicatie via TCP-poort 9999 is het belangrijkste verschil tussen TCP en UDP.
