Non è possibile fornire istruzioni precise sul corretto posizionamento di un rileva-

tore, indipendentemente dal tipo di ambiente e dal suo utilizzo. I seguenti punti

devono essere osservati nella scelta di un'ubicazione ottimale per ogni situazione

corrispondente.

Rilevatore situato nello stesso ambiente di un dispositivo di combustione

Se da un dispositivo di combustione fuoriesce monossido di carbonio, questo

inizialmente sale verso l'alto a causa del calore. Negli ambienti dotati di dispositivo

di combustione montare pertanto il rilevatore possibilmente in alto su una parete

libera e osservare i seguenti punti:

· Il rilevatore deve essere montato su una parete libera, almeno 200 mm al di sotto

del sotto.

· Montare il rilevatore a un'altezza raggiungibile senza mezzi ausiliari e dalla quale

sia possibile riconoscere tutte le indicazioni del rilevatore. ("all'altezza del busto o

della testa“)

· Il rilevatore deve avere una distanza orizzontale dalla possibile fonte compresa tra

1 e 3 m.

· Se una camera è suddivisa in più ambienti, il rilevatore deve trovarsi sullo stesso

lato dell'ipotetica fonte.

· Negli ambienti con sotto inclinato, i rilevatori di monossido di carbonio devono

essere montati sul lato più alto.

Rilevatore situato in camere da letto e in camere lontane da dispositivi di com-

bustione

Negli ambienti lontani da dispositivi di combustione il monossido di carbonio si

è già rareddato no alla temperatura della camera. Avendo una densità molto

simile a quella dell'aria, il monossido di carbonio si distribuisce in modo uniforme

nell'aria ambiente. Al riguardo, osservare i seguenti punti:
