5. SD1+ connections
Before any connections are made to the SD1+, disconnect the power supply to
prevent damage to the electronics. The connections are provided as follows:
TRIG A: When triggered, the unit starts the dialling sequence and sends
message A.
TRIG B: When triggered, the unit starts the dialling sequence and sends
message B.
TRIG C: When triggered, the unit starts the dialling sequence and sends
message C.
ABORT / D: This connection can be used to abort the dialling sequence or used
as an additional alarm input for alarm text D. The configuration of
this input is done via the programming menu (see the programming
and operation manual).
All inputs are activated either with +12V or 0V. The polarity (valid
for all inputs) is set using the "TRIG POLARITY” jumper-link on
the main circuit board.
TAMP: These two terminals can be connected to the tamper zone on the
alarm control panel so that the control panel can detect tampering
when the housing of the unit is opened.
0V: Earthing connection to the alarm control panel
+12V: +12VDC power supply from the alarm control panel
(or external power unit).
O/P1: programmable open collector transistor output (max. 100mA) which
switches earthing (0V).
