2.24 I don’t want the user to enter settings by mistake
If you don’t want the user to enter settings by mistake, it is possible to remove the
button ”Go to settings”.
Remove a button by the following procedure:
Pages/buttons Select page Select the page on which the button to be
cleared is located Select this page Edit button Select the button that is to be
cleared More Choose what is to be cleared
To be able to reach settings when there is no button, restart Control Omni. Before the
start page is shown, you are able to choose between “Start page” and “Go to
settings”, choose ”Go to settings”.
2.25 I have removed the button ”Go to settings”, how can I
get it back?
Restart Control Omni. Before the start page is shown, you are able to choose between
“Start page” and “Go to settings”, choose ”Go to settings”.
Add the function "Go to settings" by the following procedure:
Pages/buttons Select page Select the page on which the "Go to settings"
function is to be placed Select this page Edit button Select the button on
which the "Go to Setting" function is to be placed Function Go to… Select
function.
2.26 I am not able to go to settings when I restart Omni,
because Omni is asking for the PIN code.
This happens when you have removed the button “Go to settings” and you are using
the PIN code for the mobile phone.
To solve this, just pull out the sleigh for the SIM card before you restart Omni.
Restart, and you will be able to go to settings. When you are ready with the settings,
you just push the sleigh back with the SIM card. Omni will now ask for the PIN code.
An alternative is to not use PIN codes.
