4.2 Het nemen van stoepen en ongelijke oppervlaktes
Opgaan van de stoep:
Indien u een stoep opgaat, dient u de volgende manier te gebruiken;
1. Zet uw voet op de trapdop, zie paragraaf 5.6, om de voorwielen omhoog te
kantelen;
2. Duw uw rollator vooruit;
3. Als de voorwielen zich boven de stoep bevinden kunt u de rollator op de
stoep plaatsen;
4. U kunt nu de rollator naar voren voortbewegen en de achterwielen op de
stoep plaatsen.
Afgaan van de stoep:
1. Zet uw voet op de trapdop om de voorwielen omhoog te kantelen;
2. Rol de rollator voorzichtig vooruit;
3. Als de voorwielen van de stoep af zijn kunt u de rollator voorzichtig op de
grond plaatsen;
4. U kunt nu de rollator vooruit duwen en de achterwielen terug op de grond
plaatsen.
Waarschuwing:
Rij niet tegen de stoepranden op!
Let bij het afgaan van een stoeprand altijd op oneffenheden in de weg,
zoals gaten of oneffen oppervlaktes voordat u verder loopt.
